You Can Make a Difference
Disabled people and families are facing immigrant enforcement actions without accessible information, without interpreters, and without anyone who understands their needs. Yes! Access is building the resources to change that — and we need your help to get them into the hands of people who need them right now.
What You Can Do
1. Get the Materials
We are building free, plain language, multilingual Know Your Rights resources designed specifically for people with disabilities and their families. Register now and be the first to receive them when they are ready.
2. Attend a Free Know Your Rights Webinar
Our free webinars are designed for disabled people, their families, educators, advocates, and organizations. Every session is accessible — American Sign Language (ASL) and Lengua de Señas Mexicana (LSM) interpreted and fully captioned.
Secure. Free. Built for your community.
3. Volunteer Your Skills
Are you an American Sign Language (ASL) or Lengua de Señas Mexicana (LSM) interpreter?
We need interpreters for our live webinars. This is paid work. Your skills will reach the people who need them most.
Do you speak Hmong or Somali?
We need people who can help translate our written materials in ways that make sense for their communities — not just word for word, but in ways that are culturally meaningful and safe. This is paid work.
All other skills welcome.
Legal review, accessible design, plain language writing, web accessibility, outreach — if you have skills and a few hours, we need you.
4. Share These Resources
You do not need to share your personal story to make a difference. Sharing these resources is an act of protection.
If you work with disabled people, immigrant families, schools, clinics, faith communities, legal organizations, or advocacy groups — these materials are for your community too.
Share this page. Share the webinar registration. Share the materials when they are released.
Every share puts safety tools into the hands of someone who may have no other way to find them.
5. Contact Your Elected Officials
Disability rights are under attack. Lawmakers need to hear from you — not in a year, now.
We provide call scripts, email templates, and plain language breakdowns of what is happening to disability rights and services. It takes five minutes and it matters.
6. Donate
We are raising $16,000 to build and distribute these materials immediately. Every dollar funds disabled creators, interpreters, legal review, and free webinars.
Spread the Word
Small actions multiplied by many people create unstoppable momentum.
Every Action Matters. Pick One. Do It Today.
